Cesilia Gonzalez is a Certified Brainspotting Consultant and the first Certified Bilingual Latinx Brainspotting Trainer in the United States, offering consultation in both English and Spanish. Her consultation work is grounded in clinical clarity, cultural competence, and a deep understanding of how Brainspotting can be effectively applied across diverse clinical settings.
Cesilia supports therapists in refining Brainspotting skills including attunement, dual attunement frame, phase work, setup selection, and clinical decision-making. Her consultation style emphasizes practical application, nervous system regulation, and thoughtful case conceptualization, helping clinicians strengthen confidence and precision in their work.
A core focus of Cesilia’s consultation work is supporting Spanish-speaking and bilingual therapists, as well as English-speaking clinicians working with Latinx and other marginalized communities. Her consultations address not only technical Brainspotting skills, but also the cultural and relational factors that influence safety, pacing, and therapeutic effectiveness.
In addition to individual consultation, Cesilia is actively engaged in professional education and peer support. She facilitates workshops, trainings, and the first free bilingual (English/Spanish) Brainspotting support group for professionals in the United States, creating spaces for clinicians to build skill, connection, and community.
